I have nothing to complain about though. The summer flew by, a growing baby, new house, wonderful daughters, lots of work, family visiting from everywhere, my beautiful wife getting her masters degree. We did have a good time. It is always a shock to see the season end, the beginnings are easy. So much time ahead to enjoy but when it is over a sigh is needed. Now lets talk bout the other stuff. Kyanna is volleyballing, Alexis is volleyballing, Alysia is working at Metro West with Mom and Dad ( We are taking over ) and Brayden is The Monkey. Everyone is growing up and maturing so fast, except me I refuse, and I sometimes feel my age. I still think I am 12 and definitely "Think" like I am 12 but I feel old. It is just the weather the fall is coming...... oh god I am old if I blame it on the weather..... but I think young.... back to the PSP and Iphone I got some games to play. It was a great summer, try not to hurt yourself when you Fall!!

Can I say that Brayden is the cutest little monkey!!!! The tears gather as I think of the time away. I understand the necessity of it but it still pulls at my heart. Will he remember me, will they forget the time we have had together. I hope things will be fine and I won't miss things. I love that they will be waiting for me when I get home.... it is hard to cope with. I will miss the 24/7 times that we have had....... To my loving wife...... I love you and have had the best time together that is possible. I love you so much, need you so much, can't what for the next time we can be together for a long period of time. I love you. Brayden..... don't grow up without me..... please.......................

Back home     again

We just got back from Newport after Kim had a short conference with a subsidiary of Metro West. She said that it was a good meeting and things went well. Newport is nice but without good weather it is not beautiful...... oh did it rain. Welcome to the Oregon coast in April..... Sidways rain and wind that moves mountains. I wish we could go back under better weather. I love their beach and all the little shops. Hopefully it will be soon. This follows on a trip to Sunriver last week. Once again a beautiful place that is marred by weather, snow and cold that has held it in winter longer that everyone is hoping for. They were hoping for warmer weather sooner to green things up. But oh well.... it was nice to get away.

We are glad to be back home and we love it here.....

LT

Complaint free world.... oh yes!

This idea is wonderful!!! Especially with a couple of pro-blogger in my family, mother of untapped talent and wisdom, brother of immense success and drive, and sister-in-law whom sees the opportunity and takes the time to share with others. Then there is myself........ I guess the jury is out to lunch......... but I will as always try to do better and be better which might tip the scales of judgement.

This system is telling me exactly how much of a slacker I am by stating that it has been almost A YEAR without a post. WOW!! So much has happened and being a quiet Trekkie I will quote Captain Picard-"Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived." I personally love movies and have unfortunately gotten some much needed and desired ideas from them. I know that our culture probably draws too much on that nonsense but it is the words that matter whether they come from a book or digital media they still started with a writer whom had an idea and wrote it down. As a screen writers strike has shown here they do really work hard. So I will stick with the idea that their words are what matters.

Time for me does seem to fly by faster that I would like and slower than a snail. I try to live my life well and enjoy every moment and this last 11 months has had a million incredible moments.

Something that I thought would never happen has. The joy of a change, the growth as a family, not just of a family has happened. The love I feel for my daughters and a new son.......... a son. Neither Kim nor myself thought it would ever happen. I can't express the feelings I have for Alexis the youngest whom has been so incredible and such a joy of humor and love, Kyanna whom has filled the position I felt with my sister growing up of "Mini-Mom" a constant helper, and Alysia who has grown so much since he was born focusing and caring more about family than ever. Then the new little Embeeoh. We love him so much and waited for so long for him to get here now want time to stop. An addition that has brought so much light into an amazing group.

For Kimberly the love of my life and center of my world, still the center of my world, thank you for going through so much and making this all possible. You are the most incredible woman in the world. I love you and need you more than ever.

Thank you all for all that you have done to make this possible. I hope I am back for good, I can't promise but will try, pictures, words and maybe suprises.

larry

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://larrysblobspot.blogspot.com/2008/04/loss-of-time-joy-of-new-beginnings.html' title='The loss of time... I have had two such days almost exactly one year apart. One year ago my soulmate and I were in Montego Bay, Jamaica and like this year the journey to reach that beautiful place in life was winding and full of ups and downs. I am quickly learning that things in life are not always in your control, sometimes you really do need to just trust in fate and some higher plan for us all. You know those moments, we have all had them, where you are up against the world and things don't seem to be working out. Kimberly and I have had a few of these times, events conspired last year to cause us to move the date of our wedding several times, but we pushed forward with the love and desire that binds people together and is a part of our souls. We had a beautiful wedding on the beach in the Carribean and our love has continued to grow.

Today.... well today is another day of joy that had a twisted road. Today Kim chose to have surgery to have her Fallopian Tubes "Untied". A journey that is has been up and down like all other. We didn't think at one point that we would get here, but after a little over a year of looking we found several saviors, our parents whom without there help this would not have been possible, and a doctor in North Carolina, Dr. Berger. And here we are, laying in bed after Kim had surgery this morning...... joining not only her tubes but our hopes together.....

..... our hopes to have a baby ......

once again joining us closer....

More to come ..... for years .....

So this is the beginning of the next journey, to have a baby.

...... I have Faith ...... Always

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_AnI_yhr0gtE/RkJgZETAs7I/AAAAAAAAAAU/7Za84FdtpIw/s320/DSCN0114.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5062714914884334514" />
As I look at what I put on the first post I failed to put another member of our family down. Though she is a small person, a little noisy, really lovable, and quiet a bit snotty she is close to us in our heart. That would be the Pug. Her name is Hope and was named by Kyanna after our first pug named Puggers died suddenly when she choked on her food. Puggers was an exteremly small runt and filled out heart with joy for the small time he was with us. Kim and I felt that we needed to immediatly fill that horrible void so we quickly started a search. It did not take long till we found "The Pug". Kyanna aptly named her and she has become the ultimate dog. I don't know how much you know about pugs but I will tell you about Hope. To begin with she is the ultimate family dog, never far from a person in the house, happy, smart ( too smart) and only once in a blue moon grouchy. She likes the back of the chairs in the livingroom as a perch, probably because they cave in around her little butt and make a nest. She fetches, growls, kisses and hugs. A lap dog that never quits. We love her tons.
I

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_AnI_yhr0gtE/Rj-48UTAs6I/AAAAAAAAAAM/BNLJosNpNn4/s320/Family+picture" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5061967852567835554" />

I group of us at the wedding reception, aren't the girls beautiful!!!

In the beginning there was .........

Oh my where to begin...... Seeing as this is my first attempt at a blob spot, my own feeling about my writing ability seeing how it all just falls onto the screen like wet paint and I hope it is some what asthetically pleasing, I will try to remember that I am not going to be any good at this and I don't have to get everything in on the first post. Let me start with who I am and who this is for; My name is Larry Torris the husband of the most incredible wife Kimberly Torris, father to three wonderful girls, Alysia Torris, Kyanna Torris, and Alexis Hull. Second to that I am a Senior Paramedic and Field Training Officer with Metro West Ambulance a 911 provider in Oregon, stuff about that in a different link to come (at the encouragement of my mother whom had a good idea that it might be theraputic... am I that cockoo, just kidding).

I am dedicating this blog to my wife and children whom are the center of my world. I love them more that anything and I think that in time they will find this interesting and hopefully funny. It is also a place for me to communicate with the rest of my family whom has extended, in a way that has been so incredible, in all directions, locally, spiritually, emotionally, and globally.
